Dr. Jeff Spackman is a General Dentist at Harker, Chan & Associates in Southeast (SE) Calgary
Dr. Spackman was born and raised in Calgary where he received his B.Sc before furthering his education in Australia completing his Bachelor of Dental Health Science followed by a Masters degree in Dentistry. During his training in the public sector in Australia Dr. Spackman developed a passion for oral surgery and endodontics.
His lovely wife Lindsey and him have two young energetic children at home with a third on the way so Dr. Spackman empathizes with the struggles of the bedtime brushing routine. Because of this he has a particular interest in modern treatment methods for children. He believes in offering low stress, positive and timely dental visits.
Growing up in Calgary Dr. Spackman had the good fortune to know Dr. Orin Harker for many years through church and as family friends. Dr. Harker was one of his first mentors in dentistry.
Outside of work Dr. Spackman stays active and loves to be in the mountains with his family any chance they can get. He is regularly involved as an active member of the LDS church and served a French speaking mission for two years in Quebec and Nunavut. For several years before dentistry he worked as a full time commercial adventure and travel photographer doing projects all over the world. He is still passionate about photography.
